Abstract(in English) The authors have proposed an efficient realization method of 3-D band-limiting FIR filters using 2-D McClellan transformations and 2-D prototype FIR filters.First,this paper shows that multidimensional half-band FIR filters can be readily designed by transforming half-band prototype FIR filters by half-band McClellan transformations as a special case of this design method. Then the rest of this paper discusses an application of the proposed design method of half-band FIR filters to 3-D nonseparable QMF systems.Face-centered cubic samling(FCCS)and Body- centered cubic sampling(BCCS)are known as typical nonseparable samping structures for 3-D signals.A desing mehtod of FCCS QMF and BCCS QMF is proposed and two design examples are shown.
