Toward Optimal Design of One-and Two-Dimensional Digital Filters by Genetic Algorithm

Abstract(in English) It is necessary to design digital filters with minimum approximation error for highly accurate digital signal processing. This paper proposes a design method of digital filters by genetic algorithm.Parameters of a digital filter are represented as gene which is described by a bit string on computer.The optimal parameters of a digital filter can be obtained by iterative operations of gene.Design examples of one- and two-dimensional digital filters in the freqfuency domain are given by the proposed method.
