Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is important to investigate the speech production process with the behavior of vocal cords.Especially, the three dimensional movement of vocal cords should be investigate for the realization of good modeling of voice source.Numerical simulation is one of the method to achieve the above purpose. The three dimensional computer program based on Finite Element Method was realized to analyze the elastic vibration, and is evaluated. The vibrations for a right prism shape elastic body are analyzed by program using tetrahedron finite elements and program using hexahedron finite elements, and then are compared with two dimensional analysis. The computation of program using tetrahedron finite elements is not stable numerically, and its accuracy is not sufficient to analyze such vibration. On the other hand, the computation of program using hexahedron finite elements can be good one.
