A Evaluation Measure of Resolution Conversions with Orthogonal Transform,Filter Bank or Wavelet Transform

Abstract(in English) In the field of visual communication and storage,some resolution conversions with orthogonal transform,filter bank and wavelet transform have been expected.However we cannot avoid the aliasing on,the decimation in the output signal,when we use these conversion methods.In this paper,we propose a evalution measure called NAER,which expresses an approximate degree of the resolution conversions,for comparing all kinds of the resolution conversions.NAER has characteristics as follows.(1)It is the measure conunom to filter bank,orthogonal transform and wavelet transform.(2)It includes the model of an input signal.wavelet transform.(2)It can evaluate difference of input signal′s model.
