Abstract(in English) In conventional photoacoustic (PA) system for detecting internal defects of materials, a Boxcar integrator is used to reject the noise in PA signals. To shorten the integration time and reduce the apparatus size, we propose to replace the Boxcar Integrator with a DSP, which rejects the noise by adaptive filtering. Furthermore DSP controls the Laser beam scanning on the material surface by driving piezoelectric actuator attached the mirror. By this, the scanning speed is raised compared to the conventional mechanical scanning. We discuss the plan of new system using DSP, and ability of detecting internal defects of materials.
