Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The conventional methods of pipelined adaptive filters (ADF) based on Delayed LMS (DLMS) algorithm accommodate high throughput. There is a problem, however, that the convergence speed become slower as the length of the filter increases. This paper presents a new architecture of pipelined ADF for achiveing both of high throughput and less degradation of convergence speed. The proposed method enables us to select small delay so that we can maintain the convergence behavior. Simulation examples show the effectiveness of the proposed architecture. Next, realizations of filters based on the proposed method with a little degradation of throughput are considered. Then, hardware-costs and delay path of filters are considered for designing the pipelined adaptive filters. Finally, examples of filter design using hardware description language are shown.
