Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Adaptive line enhancers (ALEs) detect and extract one or multiple sinusoids from the signal corrupted by noise. In this paper, an evaluation method for the frequency resolution of multiple-type ALEs is introduced. The proposed evaluation can be done analytically while conventionally it is done numerically by simulations. The paper shows that the number of sinusoids which can be detected is significantly dependent on the number of real solutions in a multiple-order equation. A simpler method using the assumption that the sinusoids have the same amplitude is proposed. The simulation results are presented to confirm the method to be effective.
