Efficient IIR filter design for approximation of complex frequency characteristics

Abstract(in English) We want to have sufficient spacial fidelity in the reproduction of sound field for reality and presence. Therefore, we are going to experiment an implementation of sound field using binaural signal. In this paper, we propose an efficient design procedure of IIR filter for spacial (head related) transfer function. This procedure is composed of an algorithm using the points of inflection for minimizing the difference errors between targets and design samples. Some design examples showed the effectiveness of the new algorithm.
