Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Variable digital filters with variable cutoff frequencies can be designed by frequency transformation methods. Such methods are simple, but they are not applicahle to the design of Variable filters with more complicated variable design specifications such as various band edge frequencies and independent bandwidths. This paper proposes an efficient method for designing variable FIR filters with arbitrary variable frequency characterstics. The basic idea is to assume each coefficient as a multi-dimensional (M-D) polynomials of spectral parameters and then to find the optimal polynomial coefficients by minimizing the total variable frequency response error.
