Performance Evaluation of Serially Concatenated Turbo TCM

Abstract(in English) Performance evaluation of parallel concatenated turbo trellis-coded modulation by union bound for additive white gaussian noise channel is extended to serially concatenated trellis-coded modulation. This performance evaluation method can apply for almost all serially concatenated trellis-coded modulation system. The middle symbol Hamming weight of error sequence between the outer encoder and the inner encoder is using for classification of error event and for stopping weight calculation. Therefor redusing requirement of storages and calculation times are succeeded. Comparison between the evaluated performance and simulation results is shown. And a validity of the evalueted performance is confirmed.
