| 抄録(和) | Han and Verdirに創まる情報スペクトル的方法は、情報理論における種々の符号化定理や仮説検定における誤まり確率の漸近評価などを、最も一般的な定理の形で提示するための理論体系である。本稿では、同方法の特徴と意義を様々な観点から考察し、そのどこが新しいのかを明らかにする、また、それらの特徴や意義が量子情報理論の発展にとっていかに重要であるかを述べる。 |
| 抄録(英) | The information-spectram method, which was begun by Han and Verdir, is a theoretical framework to provide many a ding theorems and asymptotics of error probabilities of bypothesis testing in the information theory with their most general forms This article discusses the characteristic and the significance of the method from vanous points of view, and attempts to claify what is new-in it. The importance of the method in the diveicpment of quantum information theory is also discussed. |
