Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The information spectrum methods proposed by Han and Verdu in 1993 unveils a new aspect of source coding and channel coding and so on. This paper generalized Bergmass's results on degraded broadcast channels to the class of general channel(not necessarily information stable, stationary, etc). A degraded broadcast channel consists of an input alphabet x and two output alphabets y_1 and y_2 and a probability trasition function p(y_1, y_2|x)=p(y_1|x)p(y_2|y_1). We prove a channel coding theorem on degraded broadcast channels by using the method which Han and Verdu developed to prove their thorerms. |
