Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In our previous work we have presented a algorithm to compute the weight distribution of a linear block code by using its trellis diagram, and we have shown a method for computing the weight distribution of a linear block code by using the weight distributions of cosets with respect to its subcode. In this paper by using the result given in these work, we computed the weight distributions of extended binary primitive BCH codes of length 127 with designed distances 11, 13, 15, 23, 25, 29 and 31. For (128, 57) extended binary primitive BCH code, it is not feasible to compute the weight distribution of this code by the above methods. Hence we modify the above methods to reduce the computation complexity to compute the weight distribution for this code.
