Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) M-ary/SS communication system is well known that it has high spectral efficiency. In this paper, to obtain higher spectral efficiency, we propose a Double M-ary/SS communication system which is multiplied three sequences from a conventional M-ary/SS with another sequences three times of chip duration from same M-ary/SS. Then, we estimate the system performance in AWGN environment by computer simulations, and show the BER and spectral efficiency of the system can be improved than that of M-ary/SS. However, in demodulation of this system, a lot of quantities of calculations are needed. Therefore, we consider a simplified method of demodulation algorithm. We propose a novel algorithm like FHT(Fast Hadamard Transform) and compare quantities of calculations of the algorithm with that of conventional demodulation algorithm.
