Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes and investigates a spread spectrum(SS)system with interference canceller which can realize both ranging and communication between vehicles for intelligent transport systems(ITS). This is an extended case from our previously proposed SS ranging and communication system between a vehicle and a roadside. Since each vehicle transmits SS signals with equal power, received communicating signal from another vehicle prevents from detecting reflected ranging signal. Therefore, the proposed system cancels the communicating signal in order to achieve accurately detecting reflected signal for ranging distance between vehicles. Performance of ranging and BER is analyzed by computer simulations.
