Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Ad Hoc network is formed only by a collection of wireless mobile nodes without infrastructure such as base station or wired network. In this research, we propose user-oriented ad hoc networking that provides the service to satisfy various users' requirements as much as possible, considering not only users' requirements, communication link, and node status but also additional information for various users. The points in our scheme are, 1) provisioning of framework for integrated monitoring and control users' requirements in regard to communication, link quality, and node status, 2) application-level controlling of routing, and, 3) actively using of various users' information that is not related to communication. In this paper, we discuss concept of user-oriented ad hoc networking and design of proposed system using agent-based network middleware.
