Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In real-time media communication, large propagation delay and probability of packet loss associated with the large-scale network increases the end-end packet delay and discard ratio by an allowable delay. Although packets can be reached to the destination however its delays, exceeding an allowable delay will be discarded by application level and this affects to the QoS of real-time applications. In this paper at first, we examine the relations of end-end delay, end-end packet discard rate and packet error rate by setting up an experiment network at application layer over UDP/IP. And then we propose an algorithm for determining the effective path in a packet transmission network model with the present of a number of protocol relay nodes.
