Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) At the fast retransmission mode of TCP Reno, the congestion window size of each connection extremely decreases. Therefore, TCP Reno has the problem that the throughput of the connection is not stable and the communication is not much effective. In order to solve this problem, this paper presents TCP Pacedown to provide stable throughput by managing the congestion window size at the fast retransmission mode and controlling the elimination range of the window size. Finally, the network simulation experiments compare the stability and fairness between the proposal methods and TCP Reno/Vegas methods. We also discuss how out methods interfered from TCP Reno.
