Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors have studied information multicast in the communication and broadcasting information traffic platform to provide effectively the new Information Services(IS), which feature broadband, mobility and asymmetricity, and integrate present communications and broadcasting media. In this platform, it is essential that users can communicate regardless of the mobile environment. So we need to investigate architecture of the service zone. In this study, we apply the multicast technologies and theoretically analyze the wireless zone radius that can provide the IS and the number of contents to clarify quantitatively the improvement effects between multicast and unicast.
