Abstract(in English) DBA (Dynamic Bandwidth Assignment) has been studied widely that will allow B-PON (Broadband Passive Optical Network) to transport TCP/IP data traffic cost-effectively and efficiently. This paper proposes a method for achieving both fine bandwidth granularity and short bandwidth assignment delay. We verify what functions the proposed method requires and how to implement them. We also show advantage of the proposed method.
