| 抄録(和) | ネットワークトラフィックのゆらぎが示す周辺分布の差異を生み出す原因を明らかにするために、IPフロー統計の解析を詳細に行った。この結果我々は(1)平均アクティブフロー数の増加により必ずしも周辺分布が正規分布へ収束するわけではないこと、(2)時間ブロック毎のフローサイズ分布がパワー則に従うこと、および(3)このフロー構造が集約トラフィックの周辺分布特性と相関を示し、ネットワークトラフィックのモデル化や品質評価に重要な意味をもつことを明らかにした。 |
| 抄録(英) | To study the causal mechanisms that explain the difference in marginal distributions of network traffic fluctuations, we analyzed IP flow statistics in detail. We found that (1) the increase in the average number of active flow did not necessarily let the marginal distribution be Gaussian and (2) the distribution of flow size per time block satisfied power-law and (3) this flow structure was correlated with the marginal distribution property of aggregated traffic and is crucial for network traffic modeling and performance evaluation. |
