Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The stability of the Internet shifts the interest of users from reachability to quality. Several frameworks have been standardized to meet such requirements. However, the requirements for the quality of communication heavily depend on the network state and type of service. As the technology and market of the current Internet is undergoing substantial changes, The quality of communication to be fulfilled is also changing rapidly. In this lecture, we summarize the requirements for the quality of the communication in the present days of the Internet, both from operators' and users' point of view. Also, we introduce our effort for realization.
