Abstract(in English) We performed measurements of the throughput of active nodes, which handles active packets with StreamCode. We confirmed that the overhead of CPU processing to interpret the StreamCode encapsulated in each packet deteriorate the performance of active node, but the degree of deterioration was relatively small. We also confirmed that active nodes constructed by PCs with ordinary performance achieve enough high performance to handle Fast Ethernet throughput.
