Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is important to achieve TCP-friendly congestion control for deploying reliable multicast communications. For this purpose, a TCP-like window-flow control scheme between the sender and the worst receiver in a multicast group is proposed. However, because the scheme is relying on the periodic state notification and it has no rapid way to notify the state variation, there is a problem that the multicast traffic oppresses the TCP traffic when congestion occurs suddenly. In this paper, we propose a receiver state notification scheme for solving this problem and a RTT estimation scheme that needs for estimating each receiver state, and show its validity by computer simulation.
