Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The rapid growth of the mobile terminal usage is further anticipated, and makes severe demands on the network infrastructure, especially on the mobility management system.Though the directions and speed of the movements of the mobile terminals(and their users of course)may diverse, often there is a situation that many terminals move together;an obvious example is a commuter train.Aggregated handling of those comoving terminals can reduce the load of the mobility management system drastically. In this paper, we claim those aggregation should be done by considering not only the place of the terminals, but also their movements. We present an efficient aggregation algorithm which uses the connectivity history, and show its effectiveness by simulation results.
