Abstract(in English)	This paper describes the history of mobile services and discusses the future direction. It describes some epoch-making services and shows how they affected the direction of mobile services. In addition, the services provided by the third generation mobile network IMT-2000 is explained briefly. This survey of mobile services suggests us one of important points for the future mobile network, IP convergence. We summarize the requirements for future mobile services, and propose an IP-based network architecture IP^2 that provides new mobile services using its middleware facilities.
