Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We present an adaptive multicast protocol in which the multicast tree is dynamically constructed so as to reduce the network traffic if more than one unicast flow shares the same routing path. Because this protocol does not request any multicast IP addresses and special multicasting mechanisms, it is scalable and suitable for a personal stream-data broadcasting and its related services. In this paper, after describing the protocol and its characteristics, an application based on the protocol is introduced.
