| 抄録(和) | サーチエンジンは,情報検索分野で培われてきた技術を土台としながらも,急速に拡大するWebがもたらす新しい問題に対処するため,独自の発展をとげてきた.本稿では,まずWeb情報検索特有の問題を整理し,サーチエンジンを構成する技術の動向について述べる.続いて,ハイパーリンクによる参照関係の分析に基づく検索結果のランキングなど,Web利用者の価値判断を利用したWeb情報検索の高度化技術を述べる.最後に分散情報検索への展望を述べる. |
| 抄録(英) | Search engines are built on technologies developed within the realm of information retrieval. However, they have evolved originally to cope with new problems arise from rapid expansion of the web. In this paper, we summarize inherent problems in web information retrieval and describe trends in technologies for search engines.Next, we describe new methods of sophisticating search engines by exploiting web user's quality judgement such as ranking schemes based on analysis of link structure of the web. Finally, we prospect for distributed information retrieval. |
