Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, Internet has been very popular to the home users. In this sophisticated condition, applications to advance the information society and community are expected. However, unlike in the case of business users, there is no Internet environment that satisfies the individual needs of home users. The aim of community network is to provide secure and convenient network environment to the community(group of users). In this paper, we investigate the architecture of widely distributed community network. For the implementation, we propose a Dynamic Distributed Server method. We also performed a computer simulation to evaluate the effect of the proposed method. In the simulations, it is confirmed that the proposed method is very effective in reducing the load of the backbone network.
