Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we describe two proposals. One is an encoding parameter description method which can change encoding parameter, such as encoding method, image size and frame rate, dynamically adapted the fluctuation of transmission environment, such as contents and bandwidth. And the other is a transmission rate control method which controls the transmission rate by estimating the available bandwidth of the bottleneck link. Simulation results show that we can select the proper transmission rate and reflect user requests on video transmission by our proposals.
