Implementation and evaluation of ATM over IP

Abstract(in English) The super high speed Internet is realizing by recent great improve of the network technology. The kind of data-link layer is not specific on such the high speed Internet, On the other hand, encapsulating data-link layer over IP is necessary for the equipments of which data-link layer is specific to communicate over Internet. In this paper, we focused on the communication over Internet of the equipment based on ATM. We implemented ATM over IP which encapsulates data-link layer over IP. Then we evaluated and discussed our implementation.
