| Abstract(in English) | The authors regard text data, figures, audio, video data and 3D shape modeling data as 3D multimedia data. If such data are represented as visible and manually operable software components, it would be possible to exchange and distribute them among users through direct manipulations on a computer screen. The authors have been studying collaborative virtual environments and already proposed the mechanism to easily and rapidly build distributed 3D shared spaces by sharing software components that manage user-operation events through network. In this paper, the authors propose an exchange and distribution environment of 3D multimedia data via distributed 3D shared spaces using that software component. This paper also explains its realization mechanism and performance. |
