Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The motivation of this work is to find key factors and ways triggering user proliferation in Virtual Reality Telecommunication System toward the next generation ultra high-speed network.First, we approach user customization or personalization on a set of linkages among virtual reality worlds. To make it possible for users to have a customized or a personalized linkages among worlds, we propose to use a reproduction of an original VR world. We also propose a concept of "Wherever Portal" which isa link allocated object having a function to indicate information and/or to show a visual scence of a linked destination VR world. With its full of portability and shape flexibility, Wherever Portal is expected to enhance our ability for customization or personalization of links among worlds. From the system requirement analysis, we found that we should prepare for users who want or allow to make their talks public.
