| 抄録(和) | 本報告では, IEEE802.11標準MACプロトコルのPCF(Point Coordination Function)を用いて, 無線端末が音声・ビデオ・データを統合伝送する場合の性能を, シミュレーションにより評価する.評価においては, インフラストラクチャネットワークの一つのBSA(Basic Service Area)を検討対象とする.ここでは, AP(Access Point)が無線端末のスケジューリングを行い, 無線端末が音声・ビデオ・データのスケジューリングを行う階層的なスケジューリングアーキテクチャを採用する.更に, 音声およびビデオをデータよりも優先して送信するスケジューリングアルゴリズムを考える.APおよび無線端末の両方で優先制御を行うスケジューリング方式, 無線端末のみで優先制御を行うスケジューリング方式, APも無線端末も優先制御を行わないスケジューリング方式の各性能を比較する. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper presents a simulation study on the performance evaluation of the IEEE 802.11 standard MAC protocol in the case where wireless terminals transmit voice, video and data with the PCF(Point Coordination Function)of the protocol;it focuses on a single BSA(Basic Service Area)in an infrastructure network. We adopt a hierarchical scheduling architecture. In the architecture, the AP(Access Point)schedules wireless terminals, and each wireless terminal schedules voice, video and data sources. We consider a priority scheduling algorthm where transmissions of voice and video are given higher priority than data transmission. We then compare the performance of a scheduling scheme with the priority control by both AP and wirelss terminals, a scheduling scheme with the priority control only by wireless terminals, and a non-priority scheduling scheme. |
