Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A control network was implemented on optical supervisory channels in an optical transport network (OTN). A new restoration scheme on the control network was proposed. The new scheme may achieve faster recovery than conventional one which used NW-OpS because a signaling for the restoration was transmitted by the control network in the proposed one. When the proposed one might be used with protection/restoration class and co-operation with other recovery mechanism, various reliability classes would be provided as service level agreements.
