Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) IP-VPN design server, which is one component of a IP-VPN management system, is required to design paths for individual services while satisfying requirements such as providing QoS of each service, reliability, efficient use of network resources. We propose capacity assignment schemes based on linear programming for voice and data services. Especially, the capacity assignment scheme for data services determines paths while minimising function of the link load and the total link cost for load balance and link cost reduction. Then, numerical examples show this scheme can assign capacity and paths while balancing load balance and link cost reduction.
