Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For the wide-range deployment of reliable multicast, congestion control is required, Congestion control mechanisms should be designed to enable fair share of network resources with other traffic, Our objective is to construct a congestion control scheme for reliable multicast communications which achieves fair share of bandwidth of bottleneck links with competing TCP traffic which occupies large portion of traffic in the Internet. In this paper, we propose a rate control scheme which takes into account of round-trip delay, and show its validity by computer simulation.
