Accommodation of GFR Service to the existing ATM Networks

Abstract(in English) A method is proposed that accommodates GFR (guaranteed frame rate) service category to the existing ATM (asynchronous transfer mode) networks prepared for CBR service category. It aggregates GFR connections as GFR groups with CBR traffic parameters. For realizing CBR parameters, a prearranged table algorithm is applied Using this algorithm. each GFR group is guaranteed its bandwidth and is reduced its CDV (cell delay variation) originated from multiplexing of hundreds of groups.
