Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose the algorithm to calculate moments of busy period of the discrete-time M/G/1 type queue with finite buffer. Further, we show the application of our algorithm to the approximate analysis of HOL (Head Of Line) priority queue with two traffic-classes. As an example, we evaluated the accuracy of the approximate analysis considering the second moment of busy period in high priority queue. Numerical results show that the cell loss ratio of low priority queue is estimated accurately by the approximate analysis named the decomposition approach.
