Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a contents distributing algorithm for replicated Web servers with economics principles of pricing. In general, replication scheme operates in better performance by effectively implementing temporal and spatial locality rather than caching scheme, so that many researches have been conducted for the replication scheme. But among many of them, QoS performance (e.g. reduction of latency to get contents) evaluation under congested condition has not been discussed well. Thus, in this paper, we use economics principles to decide access assignment to replicated servers. Numerical results and performance evaluation by computer simulation show that appropriate QoS assignment with the proposed scheme can be accomplished according to arrival ratio of each contents.
