Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a service control architecture to provide a wide variety of user network services with low cost over a global networking service platform. In this architecture, service control functions are separated from transmission functions. This approach is effective to improve transmission capability by means of hardware-implementation. Transmission resources are shared among whole network services to reduce transmission cost. Flexible service extension is mainly achieved by introducing a service control mechanism which utilizes a platform management network. Since advanced functional servers can control transmission nodes via this network, these nodes are not required any additional functions. Furthermore, user hosts are not also required any additional functions when these servers employ WWW-based service acceptance functions.
