Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have researched the cost-effective regional Personal-Computer (PC) communication network system and its realization. PC group communication services to regional community members have been proposed. We have already developed a multiplex-port brouter which can accommodate a large capacity of subscriers. This paper describes a newly developed multiple-access simulator which simulates the condition where more than one PC send packets at the same time to a brouter. It also has a part of Low-end Card functions which is set in the subscribers' premises. The throughput obtained with a mutliplex-port brouter using the simulator is presented.
