Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since the multicast connection form is obviously different from Point-to-Point one, the optimal network topology will be changed if many multicast services are provided. We have been studying the network topology suitable for multicast communication, and it is concluded that Delta-Star is better topology than Star. In this paper, the characteristic of each topology is investigated from the viewpoint with construction cost in case multicast traffic increases. The network extension methods from current topology are also studied. The results show that the simple algorithms work as well as the complicated one.
