IP Routing Architecture in a Global Networking Service Platform

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a routing protocol processing architecture for a global networking service platform. In order to avoid performance degradation of packet forwarding, routing processing functions are separated from IP forwarding devices and distributed to route servers. In this platform, as address block information is aggrigated, routing processing load is reduced and a route server achieves to perform several routing processing functions. This architecture solves a problem of meddling in other routing domain which is appeard when routing protocol is introduced for managing routes or multihoming.
