Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a network architecture to provide an IP intra-networking service over a global networking service platform. In this architecture, multiple IP-CUGs(Closed User Groups)are overlaid on the platform. These IP-CUGs are geographically widened, while they are logically closed with each other in order to enhance security. These features are effective to construct wide-area enterprise IP networks. In order to separate IP forwarding processes between IP-CUGs in the shell network nodes, IP-CUG identifier is defined and user IP hosts are identified by the combination of IP-CUG identifier and IP address. On the other hand, bandwidth resources are completely shared between IP-CUGs over the whole platform. Therfore, this architecture enables users to construct secured IP intranets with low cost.
