Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In ATM Network, different type of traffic are transmitted which require different QoS(Quality of Service). To satisfy every QoS, priority control mechanisms have been studied. In this paper, we analyze the ATM switch model with a priority control to have an approximation of the cell loss probability by applying the large deviation theory. One of the merits of applying the large deviation theory to queueing problems is to obtain a very small probability which is not tractable by conventional methods.
