Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As the network transmission bandwidth increases, the high performance processing method of communication protocols is required. Because shared memory multiprocessors workstations are widely used, it is important to study the implementation of the high performance parallel processing of communication protocols on such workstations. We have proposed an approach which assigns one processor to process one layer. According to this approach, we have developed a OSI FTAM parallelized protocol program. This paper describes the results of its evaluation.
