Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a control method for high quality and highly effective video multicasting where the server has to satisfy various QoS requirements of clients. Our method employs the MPEG-2 hierachical coding technique and the flow aggregation control method. The former enables the server to provide clients with the single video stream of multiple quality, and the latter reduces the required bandwidth for the video distribution, which is demonstrated through simulation experiments.
