Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A routing is a fundamental and one of the most important functions in computer networks. For a source node and a destination node in the computer network, the routing is a process of finding a path between the source node and the destination node. In this paper, routing techniques in the internet are summarized. Firstly, IP address and autonomous systems(AS)are briefly explained with preparation for the explanation of the internet routing. Secondly, the distance vector algorithm and the link state algorithm are explained as the base of routing technologies in the internet. Thirdly, Interior Gateway Protocols(IGPs)and Exterior Gateway Protocols(EGPs)are described. ASes run IGPs within their boundaries and interconnect via EGPs. Finally, a routing of the next generation IPv6 is briefly described.
