Abstract(in English) Recently,with the advancement of Personal Computers(PC)and Work Stations(WC),Local Area Network(LAN)systems is spreading in offices and various places.In this trend,the need for the wireless LAN system is increasing. To meet this need,we have developed the 2.4GHz band Spread Spectrum Wireless LAN Adapter which works as a wireless remote datalink bridge and connects PCs and WSs with the IEEE802.3 Standard Interface(Ethernet). This report describes the design concept,the network configuration,the protocol layer structure,the multiple access protocol,the specification,and the performance evaluation of the Adapter.
